There was a chapter that really struck my attention
and has been housed in my memory for a very long time.
The chapters’ focus was on a Christian believer who lost her son to death.
The emotions of this mother were extremely high, and she made a decision
to visit the cliff of a mountain to talk with God. Of course our
Heavenly Father knew this woman’s heart, like He knows us all.
The death of her son really hurt her to a point where she had a serious question
for God.
The question was, “Why did you take my son?” She then stated,
“ Well, if you don’t respond, I’m going to get on that bicycle so you can take me as well.” The response from our Heavenly Father was “Why my son? Jesus Christ.” The
reason I want to share this with my fellow brethren in the faith, is that we
usually envision God to be without emotions, but He loves through pain. The
Cross was and still is for Salvation. The Cross affected more than earth,
but Heaven to the highest degree. It was the greatest response
to the will of our Heavenly Father. Truly this is the Son of God!
